Recently, I found myself working with the former CEO of a large advertising agency. According to her, I am an innovator and communicator, but she mostly believed me to be a fixer.
Those first two characteristics, I know well; however, the fixer piece was a head-scratcher. The more I sat with her assessment, the more I knew she was bang on, and helped to reveal an instrumental characteristic of my professional success.
I start with conversations and end with solutions.
From the youngest appointed chair for the Royal Bank’s Toronto Marketing Board, Canadian Broadcaster, and the VP of Strategy & Partnerships for Joe Fresh, my success has come from multiple disciplines.
That said, I have always been driven by performance. In real estate, that may come in the form of reimagining spaces, uncovering opportunities, or illustrating how the market moves and changes situations.
